  1. Update on Operations at King Canopy | PIC America, LTD.

As of 3/25/20, North Carolina’s Governor Roy Cooper has issued a state wide Stay Home Stay Safe order for North Carolina’s residents for the next four weeks, effectively cancelling all non-essential business services. We are in the process of receiving determination if our services of providing Canopies/Tents/Tarps to industries will be considered essential. Today 3/26/20 we are still taking orders, providing quotes, and maintaining production and shipping as usual. Unless notified otherwise, as of tomorrow 3/27/20 we expect to be working heavily staggered shifts and / or working from home more than normal to ensure the health and safety of our employees and our fellow North Carolina residents.

What this means to you as a customer or supplier is that our response times may be slowed as we adjust to new schedules and a staggered work force. Please allow extra lead time for products to arrive as we also expect delivery services to be affected by this state mandated order. We also may experience some delays in answering your phone calls during this time frame. Email communication is expected to continue with minimal disruption.

We value our relationship with each of you, and hope you all remain healthy and prosperous through these unusual circumstances. Please be sure to reach out to us if we can help you in any way.

    Thank You,

    Paul Riccio
    General Manager

  3. A Message from Our General Manager on COVID-19

COVID-19 (Coronavirus) – I am writing to let you know how King Canopy is dealing with the nationwide Coronavirus outbreak. The impact of this health concern is far-reaching, and our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected. As you know, it is a fast-moving scenario, and we continue to pay close attention to the guidelines issued by the CDC and our federal, state, and local government. The health and well- being of our customers, partners, team members, and our community are of utmost importance to us.

Many in our community depend on King Canopy to provide trusted and reliable shade and shelter sales and service support, as well as a positive, safe, and secure work environment. Our priority is to continue to meet the needs of our friends and neighbors and deliver on our promises, while abiding by the evolving governmental guidelines and recommendations intended to protect us all.

Our team’s primary mission is to provide the highest level of personal service to our customers, and we are continuing to do so. In addition to regularly cleaning and sanitizing our facilities, we are also implementing additional steps to sanitize and disinfect areas and contact surfaces on a much more frequent basis. If any team member is not feeling well, we are advising them to remain at home and to follow their doctor’s advice. Our team members are not being asked to travel to attend meetings, and we are not conducting or participating in meetings in large groups.
